Wine Day with our Parents

Virginia is for Wine Lovers! We spent the day wine tasting at Chryslis, Quatro Gumbas and The Winery at LaGrange, our Haymarket Winery! We ended the day with dinner and cupcakes to celebrate Krysta's parents Anniversary!

The new All Saints Church

I always thought that Ryan and I would have gotten married in the new All Saints Church. The building fund was started when I was in 5th grade! The first mass was recently celebrated in the new church and the church is beautiful! Yes, we technically belong to Holy Trinity in Gainesville but we frequently attend mass at All Saints!

We are honored to be in Katie and Rob's bridal party - all three of us!! Ryan will be Rob's best man, Krysta a bridesmaid and Addyson the flower girl! We are so excited and are looking forward to Katie and Rob's showers, bachelorette/bachelor parties and obviously THE BIG DAY at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV.

Two of our best friends welcomed their second child, Leyton on August 9, 2010. We are so excited for you and can't wait to meet Ms. L!

Under The Weather

On August 7th, Addyson was napping and woke up sweating, crying and spiked a high fever. Since it was after hours and the ER is only a mile from our house we decided to take her in. She ended up having white dots on the back of her throat, not strep. Apparently there is a throat virus going around. We were told to alternate Tylenol/Motrin every 3 hours. On Monday the fever went down some but was still over 100. We took Addyson Monday morning to her pediatrician. When they took her temp it came down so we concluded that the worst was over. On Wednesday, Addyson woke up with red dots all over her chest/back and blotchy marks on her face. They didn't go away so I took her to the doctor again. Apparently when the virus is healing, it causes little red dots. The dots looked better everyday but didn't go away completely until Saturday. Addyson is doing much better but is still getting back on schedule!
